Motivation 101

There are several simple ways to stay motivated and on track

1. Keep a journal: record the what/weight/time/exercise for each workout, that way you can follow your progress and remind yourself how far you have come.

2. Find a workout buddy: working out with another person is more fun and keeps you honest.

3. Use music: Several studies show that music can up your intensity and drive, whether you are doing cardio or weights

Run Twice A Day

To sneak in some extra mileage you can run twice a day. It is a good way to boost your cardio system and practice running while fatigued.

HOWEVER, by careful! Your second run should be short and easy, so you do not hurt yourself. If you are new to running or only a casual runner you should only add a second run 1-2 times a week MAX.

Let us know how it goes.
